OSHA 7410 MANAGING EXCAVATION HAZARDS - VIDEO CONFERENCE
Participants must attend 100% of this training via computer with webcam, microphone and speakers.
This course covers the roles and responsibilities of the employer to educate and assign a competent person to excavation sites. Course topics include understanding and application of definitions relating to the OSHA Excavation Standard, excavation hazards and control measures, soil analysis techniques, protective system requirements and emergency response. Upon course completion, students will understand the importance and duties of a competent person in excavation work and have the knowledge and skills required performing these duties.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDEO CONFERENCE TRAINING - Cisco WebEx Platform
In order to participate in the virtual classroom courses being delivered by the Rocky Mountain Education Center, you must have all of the following system requirements:
a computer with at least 1 GB of RAM and a dual-core processor (you cannot us a cell phone for this training you MUST be on a computer);
a webcam capable of producing high-quality video. WebEx supports most webcams of this type;
Speakers and a microphone built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth;
internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
