RMEC 420 10 HR GENERAL INDUSTRY - CANNABIS FOCUS - VIDEO CONFERENCE
Participants must attend 100% of this training via computer with webcam, microphone and speakers
This General Industry10-hour course will introduce students to OSHA policies, procedures and standards that guide safety and health principles. The course will focus on the hazards found in various aspects of the cannabis industry in Colorado. Topics include introduction to industrial hygiene, ergonomics, walking working surfaces, fall protection, hazard communication, electrical safety, emergency action plans and recordkeeping and reporting requirements. Students completing the full 10 hour program will earn the OSHA 10 hour card for General Industry and a Rocky Mountain Education Center continuing education certificate, "Hazard Awareness for Workers in Colorado's Cannabis Industry." 1.0 CEUs.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDEO CONFERENCE TRAINING - Cisco WebEx Platform
In order to participate in the virtual classroom courses being delivered by the Rocky Mountain Education Center, you must have all of the following system requirements:
a computer with at least 1 GB of RAM and a dual-core processor (you cannot us a cell phone for this training you MUST be on a computer);
a webcam capable of producing high-quality video. WebEx supports most webcams of this type;
Speakers and a microphone built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth;
internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
