The Rocky Mountain Education Center serves as one of Region VIII’s OSHA Training Institute Education Centers. As an OSHA Training Institute Education Center we are authorized by OSHA to deliver occupational safety and health training to public and private sector workers, supervisors, and employers.
The Rocky Mountain Education Center over its 22 year history has developed several health & safety classes to meet the specific training needs of our clients. These course have been developed with our experienced group of instructors and range in topics from Process Safety Management, 40-Hour Hazwoper, Scaffolding Safety Fundamentals, Supervisor Safety and over 20 additional health & safety topics.
The Rocky Mountain Education Center offers a range of environmental courses to help our clients enhance their professional skills. Course are offered in Environmental Law, Environmental Management, Stormwater Management & Erosion Control and Water/Wastewater Treatment Operations.
RMEC and our employer advisory team are pleased to bring timely training for the US Onshore Oil and Gas E&P Industry. In addition to the OSHA 5810 and the OGOP 120 Field Leadership for Oil and Gas we also offer a Specialist Certificate for Oil and Gas.

The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. This is a voluntary program and does not meet training requirements for any OSHA standards.
These courses are offered through the Rocky Mountain Education Center in partnership with these organizations and are held at Red Rocks Community College.
