Energy Efficiency for the Existing Built Environment

  • Existing buildings offer tremendous opportunities to conserve energy and water as well as provide healthier, more productive work environments.

  • This market demand is strong for all workers at all levels of the built environment to keep up with new techniques in this energy efficiency economy.

  • Our Programs are made up of a series of topic-appropriate short course workshops to meet specific learning needs.

  • Our program features small, personalized classes with specialized, hands-on instruction in the best labs in Colorado.

  • Your certificate indicates that you possess the skills, knowledge and abilities that are in demand in the residential and commercial energy efficiency field today.

  • The Energy Efficiency Technican / Specialist is distinguished by promoting a holistic systems approach to energy efficient upgrades based on return on investment.

  • The Energy Efficiency Technican / Specialist effectively frees the stranded energy and money that exists in buildings today.


Classroom
Classrooms are incorporated into lab areas and provide a comfortable learning environment. Labs are fully equipped with training units.


Skill Requirements
Student needs a working knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems representation, symbols, and scales. Students should possess residential or commercial buildings mechanical/electrical aptitude and have a working understanding of Microsoft Windows. The courses have been carefully designed to minimize the time spent on general academic upgrading. The student must have a 10 hour OSHA Card.
