Department of Labor OSHA Training

The Rocky Mountain Education Center, OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC)was established in October 1992 as part of a pilot program, the Department of Labor, OSHA selected four educational centers at that time to provide health and safety training programs to public and private sectors. Over the past 25 years we have supported the mission of OSHA by educating employers and workers on how to avoid workplace injuries and maintain a safe work environment.   The RMEC serves Region VIII which includes Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.
